Research interest
My current research interests lie are in two primary areas. The first research interest area – related to my PhD study – is in policy incidence analysis using Macro-Micro models. Specifically, in the first area I am interested in using Computable General Equilibrium and Microsimulation Models to not only understand and explain the linkages among economic growth, inequality, unemployment and poverty, but also conduct incidence analysis of the macroeconomic policies designed for reducing inequality, poverty and unemployment. The second research interest area is in green growth, green jobs and the green economy. Specifically, I am interested in the generation of green economy statistics that can be used for the design, implementation and evaluation of policies that promotes that transition of economies towards a greener and more sustainable growth path.
